Physical Geography: Climates

Thailand's climate is tropical. It is rainy and warm with cloudy southeast monsoons in mid-May to September and dry, cool, northeast monsoons in November to mid-March. The Southern Isthmus is always hot and humid. The reason why monsoon winds run through Thailand is because convection currents run through it, bringing warm air from the equator and cool air from Antarctica.
